Freeze

As agreed upon we are putting a temporary freeze on recruiting. Reason being we want to tighten up the team play with what members are already active. We'll see what progress has been made in a couple months.

PPPFFFTTT there was a freeze before geek daddy, there was a freeze before tech girl and there will be a freeze after the next person comes. You don't follow your own freeze rule so why say it in the first place?

Why not change it to an invite only clan?

Haha. You got me there, br8k. Maybe I am being too nice allowing majority of the clans input for these people..
GeekDaddy's app was before or during my vote for a freeze no? For TechGrrl - if the majority of the clan wants someone to join I would feel kinda bogus stopping them.

if a clan member wants to recruit a player... bring it to the clan first.. (a vote if you will)
if the majority agrees... then send an invite to that peep..

I think Loki's idea is right on.

This way we keep out the random noobs who somehow slipped in when we were all too drunk or f'uped to notice (Super-Viking, Br8kaway) and get the supercool players like me instead.

Why worry about it? Are we looking to the future? Or is it just for ETQW?

I think you should divide the clan up into branches similar to the government and vote on new members similar to how they pass laws.
