Well actually there is a trick to the sniper rifle. You can reload and keep shooting it by quickly switching to your silenced pistol or knife. People who have mastered the skill can empty the whole clip within 10-15 seconds. You have to time it or your shots will have no reg and you will get that nasty quick switch lag bug.

I don't know what you guys mean about the bolt animation, but if your referring to the skipping of the lag then it is possible skipping that. Also try ui_showgun 0 if you snipe, it's easier to avoid the lag spike.
