It shouldn't really have an effect in this particular case, because the issue isn't with a local cache, but with the xml data not being presented correctly. With that said though, yes, CTRL+F5 will tell your browser to get the new data without using anything that is present in your existing cache on your computer. It is sometimes referred to as an "unconditional refresh".

Not sure if there are any Mac uses out there, but the equivalent for any browsers on the OS X platform is CMD+R

Senilityiscool2, Slam420, and I have inquired about the stats problem on the ETQW community forums back in July, 2009. A representative of Splash Damage (badman is his name) tried helping us out and the loads of other players on that thread. The last response we got was on July 29th by Salteh, the Splash Damage mascot. People are still posting on that thread to no avail. I'm sure Splash Damage is more focused on their upcoming game BRINK. Understood. So I gave up. Here's the thread:

i guess i started playing to late, would've been nice to get an idea where i'm at...this is my first fps...weird thing is, it seems like it's still THE fps to play. and i see lots of new people every week. i know this because none of them know how to deploy a f'ing radar. don't worry senility, you'll live to be 136. that and other curiously useless bits of the future were revealed to me about 30 minutes ago, or dirty martini # 6 depending on how you keep count. oh yeah, mj isn't dead, but he still fondles children.

mr shifty, sister in law just went to army bootcamp. i told my brother i want a pic of them both in their blues (he's still a marine) when she graduates. she's a direct descendant of custer though, so really hoping...you know....doesn't get scalped or anything.

Splash Damage does not control the stats site, that's all Activision.

Really? Was she going to Ft. Jackson or Leonardwood.

Funny story, there used to be three divisions into which the Army was split into. Combat arms, Combat support, and combat service and support. Women couldn't join a combat arms branch (still can't to this day) but there were enough parents that wrote in complaining, upset, and distraught that their daughters were going into "combat" because they were combat support or combat service support, which are things like cooks, or mechanics or things of that nature that don't actually see combat. So they had to change the names to soothe them, even though their missions are still the same.

the stats page you might have been accustomed to visiting has been taken down as have the activision etqw forums.

There is always the splatterladder. Doens't show kills or anything - just rank based on xp. So generally the shitty radar humping players can have a high rank
