Looks like it may be a long weekend

My pc is shitting the bed as I type this. I had to do a full install on ETQW and now the update keeps failing so it looks like I may be out of gaming until I can upgrade.

sort of in the same situation as you. i think im badly needing a reformat or at least reinstall of quake wars, problem is, my windows settings have been changed somehow and also my uninstaller does not uninstall. lol how do i delete quake wars and reinstall if i cant uninstall? LOL idk if this is a virus or my hardrive is takin a shit or what. but i can play like 15 mins of quake wars and then i get 2fps and then 10 secs later my pc locks up. just went thru a thorough inside cleaning including dissasembly of cpu cooler and videcard cooling system just to make sure it wasnt a heat problem (and yes there was alot of dust in there that made it past my filters, so it was that pain in the ass fine dust)

gonna reinstall another gfx demanding game like left 4 dead 2 and see if i can play it without problems, chances are it will lock up in 5 mins tho... more on this later

I am actually seeing blue screens of death on XP Pro. My RAM may be fried, but it is still reading the amount I have. Lots of error messages. My virus scans are running clean, but my boot scan shows lots of corrupted files (FML). I have a ton of issues going on here. Anyone know a reliable sight where I can download the 1.5 patch?

My hardware diagnostics are showing a RAM failure in DIMM_4.
