Okay I'm off for a couple of days and want to solve this bug I keep experiencing with Vent.

I have Vent, I can logon and talk with anyone else on the channel, but when I start ETQW, I lose the ability to talk through it. I have tried assigning keys to vent in ETQW, no success. Any suggestions? The FAQ at Vent is no help. I have Win 7, MS Security Essentials and the Windows Firewall does not block Vent.

Hrm. Does it do it when you start the applications the other way around? QW first then vent? And are your mic settings the same in both QW and vent? (idk why it should matter if your mic itself still works, but just throwing stuff out there)

Do you have a headset with a mic and a webcam with a mic? If I remember correctly, I had this problem. I unplugged wecam and it worked correctly. Hope this is you problem.

I start Vent first then the game, and i use a headset with built-in mic.

You dont have a webcam as well then?

I had to change my key bind,I to had the same issue as you did
