Gaming Microphones / Headsets

I know some of you need new microphones. I won't call anyone out or anything but you know who you are.

I use the Koss SB49's most of the year, love em:

with no AC, in the summer I've been using the Sennheiser PC31. Not as good on sound quality for games/music, but adequate. Still very good for voice. And nice and light.

Mic quality is good on both.

very comfortable- great sound for under $30.. never heard a complaint regarding the mic..

I cant recall myself yelling... there must be something wrong wtih your ears.. or your headset but no worries, wont happen again.

Shelly has never yelled as long as I have been playing ETQW. She is actually very soft spoken. I on the other hand...

You dont yell sen, just very firm and vocal

I'm on my 2nd one (cat chewed up the wires on the first one.)

This has been a solid, good sounding headset in the $50 range. They have them everywhere (Best Buy, Staples, etc.) I highly recommend this one for the price & quality.

The only complaint about it is that in the summer, the earphones can get a little hot. If the AC is on it's not a problem.

The only thing I'd change is to go wireless.

.....and I just ordered those. Thanks Cloister! I like mine, but a little uncomfortable. I think i can still take them back and return them too.

I use Alienware TactX . It matches my mouse and keyboard.

Just got the Corsair HS1A set in. Massive improvement over the Logitech G330. Those will be going to work now. The noise cancellation is pretty impressive. I almost feel like I have to speak up louder in the mic cause I can barely hear myself.
