we need more maps for ETQW

hi, we need more maps in another server, can we do that?

uq and it seems that the furor brink of the new game will end soon, and the QW will continue to live for a long time, I wanted to ask questions and to discuss whether this server can incorporate maps, or a patch and map pack to go down all members of the clan to make it more fun to play, and not so monotonous, I never get tired of playing, but the maps and are repetitive despeus almost 2 years of play.
if you could ahcer would be very willing to help in any way possible.

ya uq parece que el furor del nuevo juego brink se va a terminar pronto, y el QW va a seguir viviendo por mucho tiempo, yo queria preguntar y dar a discutir si en este server se pueden incorporar mapas, o algun parche o pack de mapas para que bajemos todos los miembros del clan para hacerlo mas entretenido al juego, y no tan monotono, nunca me canso de jugar, pero los mapas ya son repetitivos despeus de casi 2 años de juego.
si se pudiera ahcer estaria muy dispuesto a colaborar en lo que pueda.

If custom maps are used, then it is no longer a ranked server.

but, there are custom map nirvana servers out there. Bankonit and I tried to get some running on the comp server, but to no avail.

thats not a bad thing, just make a EtQwPro server and config it to your hearts content..

well, not really.. cause i dont know of any Crypt Comp Server, or that its a ProMod server..

understand, but can not develop one?, not a bad idea to try and see, also could be used only for clan members in the Pro mode
is only a matter to play on other maps nothing else. And that is not always the same maps.


entiendo, pero no se puede desarrollar alguno?, no seria mala idea intentar o consultar, ademas se podria usar solo para miembros del clan en el modo Pro.
es solo una cuestion para jugar en otros mapas nada mas. Y que no sea siempre los mismos mapas.

Develop a map for ETQW is not easy. Our Cerolag comunity has began to try that long time ago, but not finish it.

Currently there are many ETQW maps already completed. I recommend you try them on servers where they are installed.

why worry about MAV's map, per say- when there are plenty of community maps already for ETQW?

problem is, very few if anyone is playing them so why make more??

The Sud America Map proyect is from long time ago, when ETQW has no so many maps.

I think like Loki now, there has no reason at this time to develop a ETQW map because there are others maps and the game is in its sunset.

The etqw 2009 custom map pack will work on etcwpro, I have been messing around with it this afternoon. Actually for it to run properly etqwpro should be used to render the mega textures properly. I have been running a server on my laptop for the last few hours and have checked out about half the maps some of them look like the could be good. the map pack i downloaded has these maps

all maps can be downloaded from 2009 ETQW MAP PACK

unzip the file into your etqwpro folder with the other pk4 files and you can play any of these maps.

Let me know if anyone wants to try them out. I probably wont leave my laptop running this all the time.
Currently the server is called "MEAT MARKET" SERVER IP 99.129.94.142:27733
and is running a 4 map rotation

There is one glitch in the map rotation the server disconects between maps not sure how to fix this right now have to wait for about a minute between maps to reconnect, my laptop isnt meant for speed, BUt my connection can handle more than 24 players.
