ETQW Preformance

Good evening ladies and gentlemen I would like to thank whoever accepted me into this clan because now I will never be clankicked for another clan member as I was before. My mother told me we on the east coast will have a snowstorm on wendsday hopefully this will not affect the repairs currently being initiated on the etqw master server.

It has come to my attention that the more frame per second u get the smoother the gameplay but is 120 fps good enough for this game?

another question from the noob is does the core clock on ur graphic card affect how much frames u get, and how much speed would the clock have so that i may obtain over 300 framerate? cause right now im thinking of gettin a gtx 560 with 900 megherz core clock with a really high bus width.

Please if u have time post ur average frame rate.

to answer one question, yes your frame rate is determined via your GPU but also the game itself..
ETQW was designed (using the IDtech4 engine) to run smoothly at 30fps..
not that is matters, TBH- the netcode for this game has been and will always be junk..
you can set your FPS to 300 and still experience horrible performance due to lag, not FPS..
