I voted ETQW 2. Wow, W:ET remake has 70% of the votes. I never played it....how much like ETQW is it?

ETQW 2 myself. I support Scootter on this...

ETQW is like a sequel to W:ET. they had objectives to do, different classes, team play...etc.

only, it wasn't human vs aliens, it was allies vs nazis...

so, basically, it was ETQW with a WW2 setting. lol

well...the vehicles weren't up to par, like ETQW. this game took the vehicles to the next level, but...all the teamwork, objectives, different classes stuff...that's all from W:ET

IT'S ALL FROM RTCW (Return to Castle Wolfenstein) then SD's version of it, called W:ET-- which, the vanilla IMO SUCKED BRINK BALLZ! (yes i was a die hard WOLF fan, so what!) and it wasnt until ETPRO (mod) came out, that i started to enjoy the game and played it for many years..

beauty of RTCW and W:ET there was no vehicles! its was all infantry based game play.. it was pretty cool.. didnt have to worry but some half baked drunken russian nooblit strafing above in a god dam plane lobbying rockets at you.. cause the punk cant shot a weapon that doesnt have massive SPlash Damage!!

and when there was a vehicle- like a tank is was AI controlled.. your team either repaired it and escorted or tried to stop it..

it was actually WORSE then Brink.. if that is even possible...

like you i would really like to see another RTCW MP-- it is still the Best MP FPS ever created.. simply because it was pure infantry gaming... none of this pussy ass vehicle spam crap that we have now... the game required skill to kill someone.. and since the hit boxes were so 'true', NUBS would get owned almost instantly..

but sadly there in lies the issue, peeps need the 'easy' kill (vehicles) and the huge spread or they rage quit..

thankfully RTCW is still very active.. far more peeps that game then Brink and even ETQW.. so i still get my fixe now and then..

would just be nice to see a 'updated' version of the game.. with the SDK released shortly after launch....
