Last time the master server went down, the only server that could authenticate without the MS was ByFly. It was a russian server. I asked my clanmate to see if he could get in touch with whomever ran it so we could do the same for Villa servers.

whoever is running this TAW server knows. they been connecting directly.
and im sure it has to be an unranked server.

maybe alphabeta can set up the promod.

I thought it was just my connection. Do you think the master sever was trashed in the Sandy flood? I've been playing the bots on my PC to stay in practice.

I did see another older post under Anandtech PC game forum about a previous outage. It sounded like a lot of people were writing it off then. Hope it comes back on-line.

I believe that's the Quake 3 Mod, which we may have to switch to.

I played Africa against the Bots in "Expert" mode. I pwned. It made me feel good. It was also good getting some fragging in while we have this outage. I found myself still talking trash over VOIP. No bots did reply. But if you did a quick chat asking for backup, a bunch would show up in no time flat. It was cool. I don't think I ever did play singleplayer mode before, but the gameplay was basically the same.

Looking forward to the master server getting fix0red hopefully today/tonight or tomorrow. I need to get my fix!!!

Oh and yes, my heart goes out to those affected by the Sandy superstorm. I forced my entire family to look through the picture galleries. It is hard to believe this hasn't happened to the Jersey shore until now. Lots of improvements to do and lessons learned. It is sad some lives were lost and others are so disrupted. I saw FEMA is out providing fuel for generators and such. Not sure if it is sufficient though, what about shelter and food and water.. ??
